Like what you see? :) You too can own this kind of house right inside NUVALI!

We have a modern-contemporary themed community across all Avida NUVALI projects. To be quite frank I didn't pay much attention about this house design, maybe you could say that I was more inclined toward the "traditional" homes I was accustomed to growing up. I'd never thought that I would have a greater appreciation for modern homes until I worked as a Property Specialist for Avida NUVALI. I'll get on to it and talk about the beauty and benefits of this design. Also, I was able to find useful write-ups online, since, I love doing personal internet research. I'll make mention of some info from my research as well.

Now, one reason why Avida prefers this theme is because we want a design that can withstand the years to come, since this look has clean lines, projects pure functionality and minimal simplicity it's a look that is practical, doesn't "grow old" too fast and at the same time is aesthetically pleasing.

When my client shows interest to avail one of our house and lot packages, I make sure I explain that all our units will have ample number of windows, all strategically placed to ensure that every area of the house will be naturally illuminated and well-ventilated. Modern homes incorporate lots of large glass windows and glass doors thus flooding the house with natural light and making it easier to gain access to fresh air and great views.

Modern-contemporary design is meant to maximize space so you never feel crowded and cramped, plus, with an open floor plan you can work around it with ease, adjust your furniture the way you see fit giving you more flexibility and allowing you to express your personality.

Avida Land is the only developer in NUVALI which offers house & lot packages. Granting that a buyer has fulfilled all payments and documents to Avida, what we do next is we turn over a standard model, after which, the owner is free to improve the house. He can extend the floor area, put a balcony, a car garage, a patio etc...

So an example of a standard unit is:

which you can improve later on to make it look like this :)

But it doesn't stop there of course. We also offer lot only units where you may have your own home design or you can draw inspiration from other designs and customize to your heart's content. Just submit your house plans to Ayala Property Management Corp. for approval. As long as the house has a modern-contemporary theme you are good to go. 8list.ph's Restaurant Picks to Try in Solenad, Nuvali Laguna

Tired of eating boring, unhealthy fastfood? Searching for new tastes to satisfy your tastebuds? Here are 8 awesome food places in Nuvali according to Shen Mascariñas :)

Source: http://8list.ph/best-restaurants-solenad-nuvali/

Beyond the outlet stores, picnic spots and refreshing scenery, Nuvali’s hottest attraction is a food haven that’s absolutely worth the road trip. Solenad is a huge, sprawling and mostly open air kind of mall that’s unlike any of Ayala’s developments. With tons of new restaurants nestled in lush greenery and bright spaces, Solenad definitely screams for a southern food adventure A S A P. Finally, food spots down south aren’t limited to breezy Tagaytay anymore.

Head to Nuvali this weekend and make sure you’re hungry as you explore Solenad’s delicious grounds. Here are 8 restaurants to try for a guaranteed happy and stuffed ride home.

8. Milky Moustache
Solenad 3, Nuvali, Tagaytay Road Corner Nuvali Boulevard, Santa Rosa Laguna
Open everyday from 10am to 10pm
Budget for two – P500
Facebook | Website
Got a sweet tooth? No problem! Milky Moustache’s delectable concoctions are just the thing to soothe those cravings. They have 20 exciting flavors, from classic Vanilla to a more outrageous Crunchy Cookie Butter. Milky Moustache isn’t just an awesome source for milkshakes, though. You can have your appetizer and main course here as well with their all day breakfast and comfort food options. Some scrumptious examples are Mommy M’s Special Longanisa, Salisbury Steak, Tinapa Pesto Pasta and Philly Cheesesteak.

7. Harry's Cafe De Wheels
Solenad 3, Nuvali, Tagaytay Road Corner Nuvali Boulevard, Santa Rosa Laguna
Open everyday from 10am to 10pm
Budget for two – P800
(049) 2580828 | Facebook
Harry’s Café De Wheels is an import from Australia, where it’s popular as a local food truck. Try it to get well-acquainted with what the Aussies snack on beyond poutine. Think freshly made and generously filled pies that come in various flavors. Meat lovers have to try the crowd favorite Tiger Pie, which comes with a beefy interior and toppings of mashed potatoes, mushy peas and Harry’s special gravy.
Harry’s hotdogs are out of the ordinary as well. For example, the Hot Dog de Wheels is sausage topped with mushy peas, chili con carne, cheese and sriracha. If you come to Solenad early in the morning, this Australian café’s breakfast options would be a good idea, too.

6. Mama Lou's Italian Kitchen
Solenad 2, Nuvali, Tagaytay Road Corner Nuvali Boulevard, Santa Rosa Laguna
Open everyday from 11am to 9pm
Budget for two – P1000
(02) 5191977 | Facebook
Definitely an oldie but a goodie, Mama Lou’s Italian Kitchen is a warm and homey spot for reliable Italian cuisine. Their wonderful service is complemented with a wide selection of tasty and reasonably-priced Italian dishes that aren’t necessarily the most authentic, but are sure to please Pinoy appetites. The Mama Lou’s Special Pizza, for example, adds mango to the typical (but winner) pizza ingredients tomato, mozzarella, prosciutto, arugula and balsamic cream.
After you gobble up their complimentary bread served with marinara and pesto, don’t leave without trying their standout dishes. Those include the Risotto Tartufo Funghi, Spaghetti Seafood Olio and Rollo Di Pollo.

5. The Morning After
Solenad 3, Nuvali, Tagaytay Road Corner Nuvali Boulevard, Santa Rosa Laguna
Open everyday from 7am to 10pm
Budget for two – P1000
(049) 2580819 | Facebook
Make all your breakfast dreams come true and visit Solenad’s The Morning After. It’s the perfect cure for non-morning people as the place seemingly emits sunshine from its interiors down to the food. Aside from the usual silogs and sweet treats, The Morning After offers more interesting breakfast options inspired by the likes of Italian, German and Japanese cuisine. Try their breakfast versions of bruschetta, pizza and maki. Their German breakfast is also a very hearty meal that meat-lovers would surely approve of.

4. Bistro Charlemagne
Solenad 3, Nuvali, Tagaytay Road Corner Nuvali Boulevard, Santa Rosa Laguna
Open everyday from 10am to 10pm
Budget for two – P800
(049) 2580846 | Facebook
Little Asia, the frequent caterer for visiting international artists, has a new baby that’s interestingly a fusion of European and Asian cuisines. Bistro Charlemagne proved that it’s a great extension of Little Asia’s well-known delights when it catered for the Ariana Grande concert. Look for the sexy and elegant looking restaurant that provides a nice contrast from the strip of bright and cutesy food joints. Enter as soon as you spot it, and sample Bistro Charlemagne’s ironic dishes that are both familiar and unexpected.

3. House of Bawai
Solenad 3, Nuvali, Tagaytay Road Corner Nuvali Boulevard, Santa Rosa Laguna
Open everyday from 10am to 10pm
Budget for two – P1000
info@houseofbawai.com | Facebook
Complement the refreshing change of scenery with House of Bawai’s equally refreshing fare. From the same genius brains behind Bawai’s Vietnamese Kitchen in Tagaytay and White Plains, Solenad’s Bawai is an elegant spot for light, flavorful and invigorating Vietnamese comfort food. They offer a lot of healthy options like Goi Cuon or fresh spring rolls, Goi Du Du or fresh papaya salad and Pho Bo or noodle soup.
Those who want to pig out need not go to another restaurant. Bawai also has heartier options such as Banh Mi Heo or crispy baguette with glazed pork and Ga Chien or honey soy glazed fried chicken. You can also get your caffeine fix with Bawai’s hot or iced drip coffee with condensed milk.

2. Nonna's Pasta & Pizzeria
Solenad 3, Nuvali, Tagaytay Road Corner Nuvali Boulevard, Santa Rosa Laguna
Open everyday from 11am to 9pm
Budget for two – P1000

The success of Mama Lou’s Italian Kitchen isn’t only impressive; it also seems to be continuous. Aside from being one of Philippine Tatler’s Best Restaurants of 2014, Mama Lou’s has branched out to several locations and even introduced a new concept recently–Nonna’s Pasta and Pizzeria. It exudes a similar welcoming vibe, but updated with trendy touches in its interiors and food.
Mama Lou’s well-known flavor explosions are now accompanied with handmade pasta and pizza dough, which really makes for a pleasant difference. Nonna’s pizza is chewier and a bit thicker than Mama Lou’s thin-crust pies; it’s also served with hot honey for an interesting flavor punch. As for their pasta, look forward to their wide selection featuring both simple and unique concoctions.

1. The Pig Pen Cafe
Solenad 3, Nuvali, Tagaytay Road Corner Nuvali Boulevard, Santa Rosa Laguna
Open everyday from 11am to 10pm
Budget for two – P1000
(049) 2580866 | Facebook | Website
Remember the well-deserved craze about The Black Pig in Alabang? Well, that hype is about to move down south with the recent opening of The Pig Pen Café in Solenad. It’s from the same creative hands behind The Black Pig, so you can look forward to innovative executions, mouthwatering combinations and overall, very tasty grub at The Pig Pen.
For breakfast, don’t miss out on The Pig Pen’s waffles with standout proteins like pork belly or Catalan sausage. For lunch or dinner, going for Pig Pen’s sandwich, pasta, board and rice selections would be an awesome decision as well. Just some examples are Chicken Mole Rice, Pulled Pork Canneloni, Muffaletta Sandwich and their Prime Angus Striploin board.
